Only two brands from around the world showed the first prototypes of foldable phones. These are Samsung and Huawei. However, the devices will be expectedly expensive, and it is not yet clear when they will appear on sale. Naturally, other manufacturers are joining this race little by little. Recently it became known that Xiaomi will release a bending smartphone this year, and it will cost significantly lower than its counterparts.
The new device will be called Xiaomi Mi Flex. Its main difference from competitors is that the gadget folds in two places at once. The price of a new foldable smartphone from Xiaomi will be only a thousand dollars, which, of course, is a lot, but half the cost of the same Samsung Galaxy Fold.
It is not known when the presentation will take place, but it is reported that the Mi Flex will go on sale this summer. The heart of the smartphone will be the anticipated Snapdragon 855, which is the best mobile processor available today. There is no information about the rest of the technical characteristics yet. It is only known that the device will receive at least 8 GB of RAM.
