The fall season of new technologies is already underway, and soon, at Laun Night In, Google will be showing its new products. We don't know the full list, but it's worth talking about which ones are most likely to appear: Pixel 5, Pixel 4A 5G, new Chromecast media player and Nest smart speaker. Some of these devices have been confirmed by Google itself, while others have been leaked and rumored.
Google's new flagship Pixel 5
It is expected that at the upcoming event, Google will show its new flagship Pixel 5. The company itself has already confirmed that the phone will definitely appear this fall, will support 5G networks and will be released in the USA, Europe, Australia, some Asian countries, but, as always, not in Russia.
From the design of the future device, we only saw the sidebar shown by Google, however, insiders are already publishing some renders, claiming that this is the Pixel 5. This is even confirmed by a tweet from Google Japan, which showed a part of the phone very similar to all the leaks. The tweet was quickly deleted, but as they say, the internet remembers everything.
Google's new flagship Pixel 5
If you remember what the company's previous flagship looks like (if you don't remember, check out our Google Pixel 4 review ), then you probably noticed that the phone has changed a lot, getting more rounded shapes and losing a large bezel on top.
There are also leaks about the characteristics of the device. Insiders talk about the Snapdragon 765G processor with a built-in Qualcomm X52 modem to support 5G networks. From the looks of it, the Pixel 5 will only support slow networks below 6GHz. WinFuture - the main source of leaks - also speaks of a 6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340x1080, an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Rumors say the Pixel 5 will have dual cameras like its predecessor, with one difference. The main lens will not change, but the second will replace the telephoto lens with an ultra-wide one. The specs leaks conclude with an 8MP front camera in a punctured notch, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 4080mAh battery, an IP68 water and dust rating, and 18W USB-C fast charging.
Pixel 4A 5G
Pixel 4A 5G leaks speak of a 6.2-inch display, and it claims to be the largest phone in the lineup. The screen resolution can be the same as the Pixel 5, which means a slightly lower pixel density and image clarity. They also talk about reducing the refresh rate to 60 Hz.
Pixel 4A 5G
The processor and cameras should also be the same as that of the new flagship, a smaller battery - 3885 mAh, 6 GB of RAM, not 8. There will be no moisture and dust protection rating at all, but there is a headphone jack.
According to official Google figures, the Pixel 4A 5G will retail for $ 500. The phone will be available in the same countries as the five.
New Chromecast Powered by "Google TV"
The new Chromecast media player hit the shelves of some stores even before its announcement at a price of $ 50. It runs on the new Google TV OS, which is actually a renamed Android TV. Crhomecast now also has its own remote control, so you don't have to use your smartphone. The remote has separate buttons for calling Google Assistant, turning on YouTube and Netflix.
The new Chromecast will be 4K / HDR compatible, support Bluetooth headphones and multiple accounts at the same time. However, there is no Ethernet port.

New smart speaker Nest Audio
We can say with 100% certainty that we know exactly what the new Nest smart speaker looks like, since Google showed a photo of it back in July.
A column called Nest Audio, like the Chromecast, hit store shelves even before the announcement. Among the innovations are richer color, support for Google Assistant and smart sound function. The price of the new Nest Audio speaker is $ 100.
